ARCHA Stallion Auction & Incentive Program Overview

All proceeds from the ARCHA Stallion Auction directly support the Alberta Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity and the ARCHA Stallion Incentive Program.

Ninety percent (90%) of all funds raised are added directly to the purse of the Alberta Snaffle Bit Futurity, held annually over Labour Day weekend, increasing payouts and opportunity for competitors.

The remaining funds are allocated to the ARCHA Stallion Incentive Program, which awards a $7,500 incentive each year. This incentive is split between the highest-earning Snaffle Bit Futurity offspring sired by a donated stallion (60%) and the stallion owner (40%).

This program is specifically designed to reward both stallion donors and auction buyers as a thank-you for supporting the ARCHA and its auction program.

There are currently no offspring nomination fees—all eligible offspring by a donated stallion automatically qualify for the incentive.
